Honestly, It's the difference between building from scratch and from existing pieces. Most people are not capable of molding to each other, the leadership has to mold them himself for the best performance. So I don't think any igl can 'save' Liquid. They chose this for themselves, so they will continue to underperform until someone steps up and TELLS them, not ASKS them to make changes.

What I think the problem with liquid is that the players had a different play-style. And everyone wanted to include some or other inputs into the system. I remember quite vaguely Twistzz once said that they were trying to adapt various playstyles into their system that is from VP, FaZe, Heroic and ofc Liquod itself Which ofc meant that CadiaN would not feel comfortable calling it all the way since he isn't familiar with many call outs. And at that they have to spend time perfecting those strats which can lead to conflicts of concepts. I guess that is what end up happening, but nvm CadiaN is strong voice as he was in Heroic the players in Heroic knew and had molded themselves that way. I think in liquid it took time but didn't actually come to fruition. That's just my guess 😅

London event will not be taking into a count for monesy, right? And just to make clear: Poor big event performances are pretty punishable, aren't they? I mean, having <1 rating on event will have huge impact, for example, on hltv top-20 placing?
